duration: 30-60 minutes depending on the size of your group, the quantity of products you make, and your personal pace.

candles take 2 hours to set after creating. we’ll provide a pickup time for your group after your experience. this is the perfect time to visit the other shops on main street, grab some food, go for a hike, etc.

if you cannot make it back within the same day for pickup - no stress! we’ll hold your candles for up to 1 month or we can ship. cost to ship depends on your location.

we take appointments up until we close, but this does not mean that same day pickup is available for every appointment. in order to pickup your candles the same day, your candles must be poured 2 hours before we close. this means your appointment must be made 2.5-3 hours prior to us closing (depending on the size of your group). be mindful of our closing times as they vary.

• write 6-8 of your favorite scents on your clipboard as you smell through our 50+ options
• take a seat at the scent bar to choose your product/vessel
• chat with us during your scent consultation to narrow down your list to 3 favorites
• blend your 3 scents together + pour your blend into your product
• leave the rest to us!

parking: we recommend arriving early to find parking as the village spaces can fill up quickly.

main street parking guide:

• monday - thursday is free
• friday - sunday is metered at $2/hour for up to 4 hours
• there is an additional metered lot next to the riverview restaurant on fair street
• weekend parking is free at the metro-north train parking lot
• parking is free on 9D for a short walk into the village

restroom: we do not have a public restroom. the village of cold spring maintains a seasonal public restroom as part of the visitor center at the end of main street near the train station.

if you're unable to pickup your candle same day, we will hold it for up to 1 month or offer to ship for a fee.

if we cannot get in contact with you for pickup or shipping after 1 month of holding your custom candle, we will gift your candle to another customer. we do not have space to store your candle for an extended period of time.

we will not offer refunds for candles that have been left behind.

• a credit card is required for no-show protection on all reservation bookings. you must call/email us ASAP to cancel/reschedule or you may be charged a $20 cancellation fee at our discretion.
• if you do not show up to your reservation and you do not contact us, you will be charged a $20 cancellation fee without exception.
• if we are closed, please do not call the shop. send us an email.
• your reservation is not paid for through the credit card hold. you will pay for your experience in store.
• by booking a reservation, you agree to this cancellation policy.
